As a continued commitment to the laboratory animal business, the PMI Richmond facilities have taken the lead in the Lab Diet industry to become the first U.S. manufacturing plant to become ISO 9002 Certified.

On November 5, 1996, the Richmond Indiana LabDiet^® Specialty plant and TestDiet™ facility were officially Certified ISO 9002. Scott Quality System Registrars, Inc. issued the Certificate approving our Quality Management System and finding the system to conform to the standards of ISO 9002 - 1994. Scott Quality Systems Registrars, Inc. is accredited by the Dutch Council for Certification.
